Amy Kerwin is Ascendium’s Vice President - Education Philanthropy. She is responsible for leading the Education Philanthropy team in the implementation of Ascendium’s philanthropic strategy to elevate opportunities and outcomes for learners from low-income backgrounds so they can better achieve the postsecondary education and career goals that matter most to them. She joined the organization in 1994.
Before spearheading the development of Ascendium’s philanthropy program, Amy established the organization’s internal audit function and has served in numerous operational roles. Prior to joining Ascendium, she was an auditor on the financial services team in the Milwaukee office of EY. Outside of Ascendium, Amy serves on the boards of the Wisconsin Philanthropy Network, Grantmakers for Education and the National College Attainment Network.
Raised in Windsor, Wisconsin, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.
