Sydney Nelson is a grants management associate. Her responsibilities include coordinating grantmaking operations and working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all stages in the grant lifecycle are smooth and timely. She joined the organization in 2021.
Prior to joining the Education Philanthropy team, Sydney served as a customer experience representative for BMO Harris Bank, where she streamlined communications and ensured the best possible experience for internal partners and external stakeholders and customers. She also held multiple positions at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
A first-generation college student and lifelong Wisconsinite, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with minors in linguistics and anthropology, from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
