Amy Kuether is a senior program officer. She is responsible for the development and execution of efforts to advance Ascendium’s philanthropic mission by facilitating the sharing and dissemination of key insights to support the field. In this role, she serves as a liaison between Ascendium and our grant and media partners. As such, she identifies opportunities for collaboration and raises awareness of issues across our grantmaking priorities. She joined the organization in 2022.
Amy’s career in postsecondary education has included roles in the University of Wisconsin System analyzing curriculum to inform policy, managing online programs for nontraditional learners, and directing student services. She has also held leadership roles in global higher education. She started her career in the federal government as an analyst, senior analyst, and team lead, where she managed staff and government contracts. Outside of Ascendium, Amy is a member of the Open Doors for Refugees fundraising committee.
Raised in Wisconsin, Amy earned master’s degrees in English and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
