Brittany Corde is a senior program officer. She is responsible for strategic grantmaking to advance Ascendium's Support Rural Postsecondary Education and Workforce Training focus area, which seeks to expand education and workforce training opportunities for rural learners. She joined the organization in 2023.
Previously, Brittany was the equipping workers for success program manager at the National Fund for Workforce Solutions, supporting efforts related to worker voice and power. She also held leadership positions with the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, Maysville Community and Technical College, and Gateway Community and Technical College in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
Raised in Kentucky, she earned a doctorate in educational leadership from Northern Kentucky University, with a research emphasis on employment barriers for returning citizens in rural areas. She also earned a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Northern Kentucky University and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Louisville.
